This is a set of tools I made mainly for my own use, but they can be
reused freely and modified at will, see BSD-like licences.
- anytothumb - generate thumbnails
in GIF or PNG format, you should have netpbm installed (or the non-free
version to use GIF format). It is a "sh based" script. - Last

- genethumb - generate a bunch of
thumbnails in a directory, and can be recursive. It uses anytothumb,
and it is also "sh based". - Last Modification: 4 Jan 2001
- genepage - generate index pages
for pictures, with automatic RDF comments extraction and processing,
generation of thumbnails, intermediary picture size, etc... It has
multiple options to change the number of pictures per page, title,
number of rows, copyright, index file name, etc...
The picture page contains links to
sample uses. You should have the jpeg
tools installed (rdjpgcom), anytothumb and genethumb for the thumbnail
generation, and netpbm to extract the image size. It uses also
<link> elements for better navigation.
XMP support
requires additional
